Some journeys stay with you forever, and Thailah’s is certainly one of them. Thailah joined Inclusive Solutions Australia just before she turned 18, navigating a time of instability and low confidence. Like many young people transitioning into adulthood, she felt she couldn’t achieve the milestones that seemed to come easily to others.
Over the last five years, we have had the privilege of walking alongside Thailah as she built her life step by step. Together, we focused on daily living skills, safe community access, and most importantly, building her self-belief.
Real progress takes time, trust, and persistence. A major part of Thailah’s success has been the consistency of working with her support worker, Adam. His steady approach helped create a sense of safety, allowing Thailah to keep pushing forward even during moments of doubt.
During this journey, Thailah also became a mother to a beautiful baby girl. Watching her grow as both an individual and a parent has been incredibly special for our team.
Recently, Thailah reached a milestone that truly captures her transformation: she passed her P-plates on her very first attempt! For someone who once felt capable of so little, studying the road rules and building the confidence to sit that test was a massive achievement. 🚗
Today, at 23 years old, Thailah lives with a sense of independence and a mindset that says "I can try" instead of "I can’t."
Thailah, everyone at Inclusive Solutions Australia is so incredibly proud of you. Your story is exactly why we do what we do. 💛
