ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation and Independent Living Support

Helping NDIS participants find housing and thrive at home – without needing SIL.

At Inclusive Solutions Australia (ISA), we support NDIS participants to live independently, confidently, and safely — in homes that suit their needs, goals, and preferences. Whether you already have a home, are looking for a new place, or need help establishing routines and support in your current accommodation, ISA is here to help.

ISA is a registered NDIS provider delivering flexible supports in the home —This means you don’t need Home and Living panel approval to work with us, and your funding doesn’t need to be tied to a fixed housing model.

We Support You in Finding and Sustaining a Home

Through our partnerships with housing providers like Happy Property Services, and with our deep knowledge of local housing pathways, ISA can help you:

  • Explore rental or shared accommodation options

  • Connect with community housing services

  • Navigate tenancy applications or transitional housing

  • Transition from Child Safety or emergency placements

  • Coordinate with property managers and support coordinators

Once housing is secured, ISA provides NDIS-funded supports to help you live well in your home.

In-Home Support – Anywhere in Queensland

ISA provides tailored in-home support to participants in:

  • Private rentals

  • Family homes

  • Shared living environments

  • Transitional accommodation

  • Homes managed by partner providers (e.g. Kingston Complex via Happy Property Services)

Our supports are flexible, participant-directed, and focused on building real-world skills and independence.

Common Supports Include:

  • Daily Living - Personal care, hygiene, cooking, cleaning, medication prompts

  • Household Management - Budgeting, shopping, utilities, meal planning

  • Tenancy Support - Routine setting, room care, shared space etiquette

  • Life Skills - Time management, setting goals, community engagement

  • Transition Support - Leaving care, setting up a new home, linking with housing

  • Employment Support - School-based traineeships, job applications, travel training

  • Confidence & Safety - Navigating the neighbourhood, personal safety, social skills

Our Kingston Integrated Living Model:
Independent Living, Empowered

Our Kingston Complex is more than just accommodation — it’s a purpose-built, thriving community that supports NDIS participants of all ages to build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to live fulfilling and self-directed lives. Whether transitioning from Child Safety, moving out of home for the first time, or rebuilding after periods of instability, participants are supported in a safe, stable, and well-managed environment that promotes long-term growth.

This model is delivered in conjunction with our valued housing partner, Happy Property Services (HPS). It is not a Supported Independent Living (SIL) arrangement, but a semi-independent rooming agreement, where participants hold individual rental agreements managed by HPS. Inclusive Solutions Australia (ISA) provides only the NDIS-funded supports, while HPS manages all tenancy matters. Together, we form a dynamic, collaborative model that respects tenancy rights, maintains clear separation of roles, and ensures alignment with NDIS Practice Standards.

Developed across ten modern townhouses, the Kingston Integrated Living Model offers participants the opportunity to live independently with tailored daily supports delivered in their own home environment. With on-site Team Leader oversight, embedded safety protocols, and a focus on life skill development, it provides the right structure for participants to succeed.

Key features of the Kingston Model include:

  • Daily living skill development: cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, laundry

  • Support to build and maintain routines, personal care, and home management

  • Tenancy sustainment coaching and housing literacy

  • Community access, independence coaching, and employment readiness

  • Peer-based living with guided support and shared responsibility

  • Ongoing collaboration with Support Coordinators, Child Safety, Housing, and DV services

  • On-site oversight by ISA Team Leaders to ensure safety, service consistency, and escalation pathways

What sets this model apart is its outcomes:

  • Over 70% of participants, many of whom transitioned from Child Safety, have chosen to remain in the complex for 2.5 years or more, a testament to the model’s success in promoting real, long-term independence.

  • Participants grow in confidence, capability, and self-direction, supported by a consistent team and an environment that nurtures skill-building and resilience.

  • Risks are actively managed, participants feel safe, and progress is visible across all life domains — housing, employment, community engagement, and personal wellbeing.

ISA’s role is to deliver NDIS-funded supports only, and all tenancy and property-related matters are managed independently by HPS. This separation maintains participant choice and control, protects tenancy rights, and ensures the model remains compliant with NDIS expectations around housing and support separation.

ISA also delivers the same high-quality daily living supports to participants living externally in private rentals, transitional placements, or family homes — ensuring consistent service delivery regardless of location. Whether a participant is stepping into independence for the first time or re-establishing their life after significant disruption, the Kingston Integrated Living Model offers more than support — it offers a genuine pathway to empowered, sustainable living.

ISA supports several participants living at the Kingston Complex, with homes managed by our trusted property partner, Happy Property Services. These modern, fully furnished homes feature:

  • 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom layouts

  • Fully air-conditioned interiors

  • Fenced courtyards and outdoor areas

  • Proximity to shops, schools, public transport

  • Support staff available on-site daily for scheduled supports

Please note: ISA is not the housing provider — tenancy arrangements are managed separately. ISA provides in-home support and tenancy transition assistance.
