Hugh is the Chairman and co-founder of Union Institute of Language and has more than 30 years’ experience as an International Business and Management professional with valuable expertise in the Education, Disability, Finance and the Property Sectors. In addition, Hugh has been at the forefront of disability services and has provided employment and training opportunities to people with a disability through his previous involvement in the disability space. This coupled with well-established business networks both in Australia and internationally, within government and private sectors, enables Hugh to bring a truly synergistic advantage to the ISA Group.

Priscilla has over 15 years’ experience working with people with a disability. As the founder of one of the largest disability employers in QLD, she implemented a unique funding process that maximised the available government support and gave employment and training opportunities to over 700 young Queenslanders with a disability who were employed to complete a paid School Based Traineeship. The exceptional level of care and support to the trainees was evident in their completion rate of 90%, significantly higher than the national average of 49%. Her passion and drive to be an advocate for people with a disability is inspired by her son Reef who is living his best life with Autism.

Anne McDougall

Anne is the Principal and Co-Founder of Union Institute of Language (UIL), personally setting up the large underage and adult homebased accommodation business division within UIL. Since 2003 Anne has personally taken on the role of guardian for all of UIL’s underage international students’ which number in the thousands over past years. In addition, Anne currently manages the welfare and accommodation provision for all international underage students at TAFE Queensland (under contract) and manages the homebased accommodation provision and welfare support for international students in some of UIL’s partner high schools. Anne previously worked for 11 years as a lecturer within the Faculty of Business and Management at the University of Queensland and has considerable experience in business management being involved in consulting and development with Government, educational institutions, universities and schools within Australia and overseas.
