My name is Ronald, I am from Pigeon Hole Community which is in the Katherine Region of the Northern Territory. I am doing a Certificate II in Information Technology and I have my trainee placement with ITMS. ITMS is a good company to work for and they look after the computers for Aboriginal Hostels throughout Australia. You can see beside me is Trevor Webeck and Cassandra Webeck and they support me a lot in the workplace. Every now and again I have a workplace assessor from the training provider come in and assess me in the workplace. I have covered 4 units so far.

I am in Canberra because I want to better myself and hopefully I will be able to take my skills back home. Who knows I might one day even set up my own computer company. I am glad that I found this program and I hope that my story inspires you to join me.

Hi my name is Mitch!

I am an IYMP participant and I came down to Canberra in August.
Since then I have done a certificate I in computers and have scored a traineeship with Indigenous Success Australia (ISA). They told me I have strong leadership skills, and I am amazed because my whole life has turned around. I tell anyone who wants to improve their life to join any IYMP program around Australia!
